Located in the heart of the Trois Frontières region, only 6 km from Luxembourg, Rodemack is a charming medieval town which blossoms every year, on May 1st, during its flower and garden decoration market.
Still surrounded by a 700-metre wall, the town has managed to preserve a flavour of yesteryear with its typical narrow streets and its architectural heritage, so much so that it is nicknamed the “Carcassonne Lorraine”. All these assets have earned it a place among the “Most Beautiful Villages in France”, which today includes 156 villages.
This Sunday, May 1st, the 28th edition of its famous flower market will take place. A colourful day where flowers will brighten up the streets of the town.
You will find a wide range of balcony flowers, bedding plants, perennials, aromatic plants, hardy orchids, vegetable seedlings, ornamental shrubs, etc., as well as a large number of decorative items for gardens and balconies, and garden brocante.
For the gourmets, there will also be stands of local producers to discover various products such as honey, gingerbread, fruit juices, jams, syrups, spices, herbal teas, liquors…
There will also be food and drink available (sandwiches, pies, waffles, drinks).
Free admission!
