The 10th edition of the Dudelange Jazz Festival, “Like a Jazz Machine”, will take place from Thursday 12 to Friday 15 May! 15 bands and more than 70 musicians from all over the world will take the public on a musical journey.
Discovering jazz
Like A Jazz Machine 2022 will once again take you on a journey through the world of jazz today, with the emphasis on new creations, emerging talents and adventurous crossovers. During 4 consecutive days, musicians will present their new projects in the Grand Auditoire of the Centre Culturel Régional de Dudelange.
From tradition to new trends, the festival celebrates jazz in all its forms, with musicians who are well established and appreciated by jazz enthusiasts, such as Bojan Z, Thomas de Pourquery, Émile Parisien, Kenny Garrett, Naïssam Jalal, Edward Perraud, Paul Lay, Bobby Sparks II, Roberto Negro, Kit Downes, Nasheet Waits, Manu Codjia, Géraldine Laurent, Laurent Bardainne, Donald Kotomanou, Adam Pieronczyk, Majid Bekkas and Jean-Paul Bourelly…
Like a Jazz Machine and Esch2022
The jazzXchange, a project in the framework of the European Capital of Culture Esch2022, which brings together 7 musicians from Luxembourg, Lithuania and Serbia under the baton of maestro Bojan Z, will open this 2022 edition. This will be followed by Pit Dahm and Michel Reis feat. Ben van Gelder and Zack Lober and Stefano Agostini with his project Point Cloud Echo.
Jazz for all
A nice initiative for deaf and hard-of-hearing people, “hearing jackets” are available to enjoy the concerts through the use of jackets that vibrate to the music.
