On Saturday, 25 September, the 4th edition of the LËTZ GO GOLD race will be held to raise funds for the Kriibskrank Kanner Foundation. Cactus, a long-standing partner of the Foundation, is actively involved in supporting the cause as a Gold partner of this sporting and social event.
Aware of its important role in the daily lives of the citizens of Luxembourg and the Greater Region, the Cactus group has been involved in sponsorship activities since the beginning. This year again, the company is maintaining its commitments by being a Gold partner of the 4th edition of the Letz Go Gold solidarity race.
Indeed, thanks to the various sponsors who cover the costs of organising the race, all the donations collected by the participants can be 100% transferred to the scientists who can thus further intensify their research against child cancer.
An event for everyone!
Each participant undertakes to raise a minimum of €200 (€100 for minors and students under 25) to be admitted to the race. The objective of the fundraising principle is to make a difference, federate and multiply.
Participants will be able to choose between four tracks: 5km, respectively 10km run – 5km walk and a short 1.5km lap accessible to pushchairs, wheelchairs and other mobility impaired people. A livestream will also allow participants to participate in a remote mode while following the morning’s programme.
All races are non-timed and podiums will be awarded to the participants who have collected the most money individually or in teams.
Sport is not your favourite hobby but you want to support the action?
You can go to www.letzgogold.lu and click on “make a donation”. Look for the runner/walker or team you want to support and send them your donation. To support the cause in a more general way, you can also send your donation to the mascot Poldi, who is also participating in the race and represents the general collection account of the Kriibskrank Kanner Foundation.
Cactus and the Kriibskrank Kanner Foundation look forward to seeing you on the 25th of September at the ponds of the Kockelscheuer ice rink or in livestream.
