After a successful opening in Dudelange, Trust hairdressing salon has just inaugurated a second location in the heart of Luxembourg City in the magnificent building at the corner of Rue Philippe II and Rue Notre-Dame. This time, however, a real concept has been created. On the ground floor, a café/tea room, restaurant and on the first floor, a beauty salon.
The Café
Open from 8.30 in the morning, sit at one of their tables along the windows to admire the hurried passers-by while enjoying an Illy cappuccino accompanied by a croissant baked on the spot by the chef. Choose from pistachio, chocolate praline or white chocolate raspberry for a divine crunch. We are crazy about them!
Thanks to its huge windows overlooking the street, the sun will embrace your gourmet break. The decoration by STIL Interiors and Events has been designed for a relaxing moment, with comfortable round leather seats and velvet chairs with cloud-shaped backs… ideal to extend your daydreams. On the restaurant side, we enter a very natural and cosy atmosphere with pine green painted walls on which large mirrors have been fixed, where the black and white wallpaper covered with country flowers that covers the other wall is reflected. For seating, smooth green velvet sofas and chairs with burgundy or cream backs in the shape of a cloud guarantee a comfortable meal.
At lunchtime, two formulas are offered: poultry for 22 euros or fish for 24 euros, with a starter and a main course. The “à la carte” menu includes salads as well as several choices of starters and main courses, such as a perfect egg, a mussel risotto, crayfish ravioli or sweetbreads with caramelised onions. The chef and his team adapt the menu throughout the seasons.
Open until 7pm, you can also go there for an afterwork!
The beauty salon
To continue this moment of indulgence, go up the few steps that lead you to the hair salon. The huge white room, warmed up with a magnificent wooden floor, offers a breathtaking view of the Place de la Constitution and the Pétrusse valley in the distance. Take a seat in one of their armchairs and be pampered by the Trust hairdressing team. Since its inception, the salon has been working exclusively with the Balmain Paris brand.
Also on the first floor, a space is dedicated to nail care, hand, and foot care. Soon a massage service will be offered.
As you can tell, this place is a little cocoon out of time to be pampered in the depths of winter and to enjoy a coffee, a tea, a delicacy or a good meal.
