Co-labor, the cooperative that celebrates 40 years of existence this year, has opened a new organic store in Dudelange, featuring products from its own garden and even a bistro.
Co-labor, a cooperative that specialises in the production and sale of organic products, opened a new store in Dudelange on the 17th of April 2023. The cooperative, which also manages gardens, nature protection activities, and a nursery, has been in existence for 40 years and already operates its first store in Bertrange, where its headquarters are located.
Co-labor’s philosophy is based on the pillars of a solidarity-based economy, meaning that some of its teams benefit from measures of professional reintegration. The cooperative’s main goal is to fight against social exclusion through vocational training, work support, and job creation. The new store in Dudelange features a variety of products from the cooperative’s own gardens, including fruits, vegetables, and plants, as well as essential products and bulk items.
But that’s not all. The store also features a small bistro, where customers can enjoy organic drinks and homemade snacks. In addition, the cooperative offers workshops, thematic evenings, and even the possibility for parents to organise their children’s birthday parties on the store’s premises.
It is worth noting that co-labor is also present in the weekly market on the Place de l’Hôtel de Ville every Thursday, and another project is about to be launched in Dudelange: the inauguration of a self-service flower meadow in the Rue des Champs.
