We’re Smart®, the reference in the culinary world of vegetables, revealed the new Green Guide and the winners of this year’s Best Vegetarian Restaurant and Best Vegetarian Restaurant awards: Culina Hortus (Lyon, France) and Vanilla Black (London, UK).
The announcement was made by renowned Vegetable Chef®, Frank Fol, at the official release of the We’re Smart® Green Guide 2020, which includes reviews and ratings from nearly 1,000 restaurants around the world, ranked from 1 to 5 radishes, depending on the amount of vegetables they use in their dishes.

Culina Hortus, in Lyon, France, has been named Best Vegetarian Restaurant 2020 by We’re Smart®. Born of the French culinary duo Thomas Bouanich and Maxime Rémond and the talented young chef Adrien Zedda (26), Culina Hortus is the new gastronomic address for haute cuisine – and 100% vegetarian.
Vanilla Black Awarded We’re Smart® Best Vegan Restaurant in the World
Vanilla Black, in Holborn, UK, won the We’re Smart® Award for Best Vegan Restaurant 2020. Vanilla Black was created by Andrew Dargue and his wife Donna Conroy to challenge our conceptions not only of vegetarian cuisine but of food in general.

Culina Horta and Vanilla Black are two of nearly 1,000 restaurants featured in the Guide Vert de We’re Smart® 2020, which will also be released on May 4.
