With only a few months to go before the launch of Esch 2022 next February, Esch 2022 today revealed the fruit of its collaboration with LUXAIR, one of the supporting partners of this cultural year. A Boeing 737-800 has been completely redesigned, both inside and outside, with colourful drawings by the Luxembourg artist Lynn Cosyn, chosen for the occasion. A wonderful way to spread our culture and heritage beyond our borders during the year 2022.
This collaboration between Luxair and Esch 2022 quickly became obvious to both parties. For Nancy Braun, General Manager of Esch 2022, this collaboration with Luxair will allow greater visibility for Esch 2022 and also for the artists. Gilles Feich, CEO of Luxair, hopes to “create emotions with this plane”. The plan is for the plane to fly to more than 60 destinations to spread the word about Esch 2022 as far as possible.
The artist Lynn Cosyn, whom we chose at Kachen a few years ago to create the logo for our first Blog Awards, has taken on this new challenge with brio. “The result leaves me speechless. I wish I could go back to the little girl I was when I was 8 years old, when I first flew on a Luxair plane and tell her we’ll draw on it, but she surely wouldn’t believe me!”
From next year onwards, look up to the sky more often for a chance to see a colourful plane waving at you.
