Very good news for foodies, the GENAVEH chocolate factory is launching its own chocolate mousse! This dessert, cherished by chocolate lovers, has the power to bring back sweet memories of our childhood.
An “homemade” mousse
In her brand-new shop located Rue Philippe II, in the centre of Luxembourg, Alexandra Kahn, CEO of Genaveh, has decided to satisfy everyone’s cravings by offering a chocolate mousse to go. “I often make them at home, and I thought that this would be an original addition to the classic products that we normally find in a chocolate shop,” she explains.
After numerous tests in the Genaveh workshop in Steinfort, and tasting by some of their most loyal customers, the recipe is finally ready. “I took the one from my childhood, not too strong in chocolate to please young and old alike, while respecting the traditional taste of this dessert,” explains Alexandra.
Made with a mix of milk and dark chocolate from Venezuela and the Ivory Coast, it also contains butter, eggs and sugar.
One mousse can hide another
Three types of toppings are available to enhance this creamy delight: caramelised almonds, crumbled biscuits from Brittany and crunchy chocolate balls. Not an easy pick but remember that you can always come back for more!
This mousse will be served in a biodegradable ice-cream cup, so that it can be enjoyed while wandering through the streets “like we do with a cup of ice cream”. It is also possible to savor it on the pretty terrace in front of the shop.
Alexandra Kahn hope to soon expand the offer, with other choices of mousses, such as a vegan one or a darker chocolate mousse.
To celebrate the summer, Genaveh will also be offering in the next few weeks, its famous hot chocolate… in chocolate shakes. A refreshing while gourmet drink!
Let yourself be tempted by this new dessert!
