The City Tourist Office of Luxembourg City and the Repères Communication agency are launching a project with bags made out of tarpaulins from open-air festivals. Their aim is to highlight environmental responsibility and take unusable materials to give them a new life.
“IAMBAG” is a new, socially and environmentally responsible project launched by the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) and the Repères Communication agency and consists of a limited collection of unique backpacks and shoulder bags made by the ATP workshop from tarpaulins that are left from outdoor festivals. The aim is to give waste products a new life and to involve people suffering from mental illness. To support the institutions in Luxembourg, the surplus profit from the sale will be donated to the EME Foundation and the Fondation Maison de la Porte Ouverte.
The backpacks are available for sale at the LCTO and for shipping via their website. The shoulder bags are sold exclusively at the LCTO Tourism Office. To support the project, the LCTO has set up a donation system.
