After two years, the Koll an Aktioun finally returns to the historical site of the Slate Museum in Haut-Martelange. On Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 June, the 7th edition offers a wide and varied program for the whole family.
A festive weekend
As in every edition, the festival proposes activities for all, in the respect of the nature and the environment and by integrating local actors and associations. Thus, concerts and shows, but also an exhibition, a market of creators, workshops for children and culinary activities will be part of the program.
Eco-responsible food and drink
Year after year, the food offer of Koll an Aktioun is getting richer and more diversified. Participating stands emphasize local and organic ingredients (some even coming from the garden around the festival)! It’s street food at its best: vegan, oriental, traditional, … There will be plenty to choose from!
The Koll an Aktioun wants to be an eco-responsible festival. Thus, most of the food served at the festival is organically grown and/or locally produced. The drinks are all local and/or organic, such as drinks from the OPYOS brand that will be present during the weekend. The furniture and decoration are mostly handmade and often made from recycled materials. No disposable dishes are used on the site. The distribution of advertising gadgets is forbidden.
Moreover, before the festival, the printing of advertising leaflets has been limited and on recycled paper only.
A historical place to discover
The site of the former slate quarries of Haut-Martelange, where slate was mined and transformed into a finished product, is now the Musée de l’Ardoise Haut-Martelange. With its underground mines, industrial buildings and dwellings, it is truly a whole village to discover!
Tickets can be purchased online.
