From the 10th to the 12th of September, Luxexpo the Box’s newest creation “Long Live The Summer” will take place. This will be a new event format – both commercial and festive – running indoors and outdoors – and structured in six separate zones.
The aim of the event is to bring people and merchants together for a long, festive and sociable weekend in order to compensate for the lack of events that Luxembourg has been facing lately.
“Long Live The Summer” will take place on the 10, 11 and 12 of September, just before the start of the new school year, to close the summer in style. An innovative concept, centred around six different zones: Wheels n’Boards, The Food Village, The Succulent Fair, The Offline Market, Street & Geek, Nexterday, On the Road again & sponsor village. What lies behind each of these zones as well as the details of the entertainment programme including DJ sets, animations, tournaments and parades, etc. will be revealed throughout the summer.
Moreover, the City of Luxembourg wants to support this new formula with an original and innovative approach. Indeed, it is offering free stands to shopkeepers in its 24 neighbourhoods to support their business recovery. Thus, they will be able to test this new format without risk or cost. The Chamber of Commerce also wanted to show its support by giving the opportunity to about twenty shops that only exist online to be present for three days and meet their customers for real in the “The Offline Market” area.
An event not to be missed!
