The Night of Culture has been roaming the territory of Esch-sur-Alzette for 10 years and returns this year for an exceptional Night of Culture consisting of 5 nights spread over the year!
Created by the inhabitants from local ingredients, the Night of Culture is the emblematic project of a town and its anchorage in the territory. The Night of Culture is a new way of creating culture within a city, an innovative example of citizen co-construction that brings together neighbours, associations, institutions, businesses and other active forces in Esch- sur-Alzette.
This year, there will be five nights spread over the year and in five different sectors, where the inhabitants, associations and cultural institutions of Esch will showcase their city, accompanied by international companies such as the Cie la Machine.
The next not-to-be-missed culture night will be on 9 April at the Universiteit | Raemerich | Belval sites.
In a city undergoing reconstruction, the Night of Culture invites you to rediscover Belval as a place to live, to meet and to marvel at during a colourful night. A Night with dancing, singing accents, a celebration of life, of human warmth in this raw landscape, in an atmosphere where brutality is mixed with poetry and the richness of the moment. On 9 April 2022, come and experience a celebration of life in the City of Esch.

15 to 17 July: Neidurf | Park | Grenz
On the one hand the urban city, on the other hand nature.
From 15 to 17 July 2022, the Night of Culture invites you to play with the contrasts: sometimes during a storytelling walk, sometimes during an astronomy night.
Let yourself be surprised and venture into the streets of Neidurf, Park and Grenz.

What if the Night of Culture turned into 10 Nights?
From 2 to 11 September 2022, almost one hundred artistic projects will amaze you and tell the story of a city in the midst of change.
Attend the closing of the Nuits de la Culture 2022 with this last stage in the city centre.
