On Thursday, January 30, 2020, the official award ceremony of the 3rd edition of the European Moselle Wine Competition took place in Paris, at the Embassy of Luxembourg.
This competition showcases the European Moselle vineyards in France, Luxembourg and Germany. Here are born wines of great quality, which share a common know-how and a common history dating back to the time of the Romans.
It’s in the prestigious setting of the Luxembourg Embassy in France and in the presence of S.E. Mrs Martine Schommer, the great winners were awarded their Prize.
Among the winners, 3 estates were present at this ceremony; Mrs Isabelle Gales, for the Domaine des Caves St Martin, whose Pinot Gris 2018 De Nos Rochers Grand Premier Cru and Gewürztraminer 2018 De Nos Rochers Grand Premier Cru were awarded the prestigious Grand Gold Medal, Mr Laurent Kox, for Domaine L&R Kox, whose Auxerrois 2017 Remich Goldberg was elected for a Gold Medal, and Mrs. Michaela Bollig representing Domaine Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt, whose 2018 Riesling Alte Reben won a Gold Medal.
