Pitaya, the chain of restaurants specialising in Thai street food, opened its first restaurant in Luxembourg City at the beginning of October on Avenue Monterey.
The restaurant serves its customers stir-fried dishes prepared in front of them in a matter of minutes, bringing Bangkok’s street food to the heart of Luxembourg. Pitaya’s wok experts offer a wide range of fresh dishes at affordable prices, with fresh vegetables cut on the spot. Their goal is to show that fast food can also go hand in hand with healthy and quality food. On the menu you will find a wide range of Thai dishes, from traditional starters (for example Thai cucumber salad and spicy edamame) to main courses (such as chicken satay and Thai curries) and must-have desserts (like mango sticky rice).
Pitaya also strives to introduce its guests to the famous Thai hospitality, serving each meal with warmth and friendliness inspired by the “land of smiles”. The colours of fresh produce and authentic dishes will transport you from Luxembourg to the streets of Bangkok.
Damien Kropfeld, Pitaya Luxembourg franchisee, says: “located in the city centre, a few steps from Place d’Armes, this restaurant adds a brand new concept to the city’s gastronomic offer and is ideally located for a first establishment in the country.” After opening more than 100 restaurants in France and Belgium, this new adventure in Luxembourg is only getting started, as Eric Lucassen, Marketing Specialist at Pitaya, points out “we aim to open Pitaya restaurants in many other locations in the Grand Duchy.”
