Something new in Luxembourg with the new adventure of the Chef Renato Favaro who launches LÂ Pizza. High quality products for delicious pizzas.
The Chef Renato Favaro, a figure of the Luxembourgish culinary scene, originally from Como, moved to Luxembourg in 1984. He worked there for 5 years before opening his own Ristorante Favaro in 1989. For sixteen years, spread over two periods, he was awarded a Michelin star. But a little over two years ago, he turned the page and opened Cômo.
His desire was that everything should become simpler. His logo also reflects his desire to move towards simplicity, sharing and conviviality. The hat on the o in Cômo represents the roof of a house, his desire being that his guests feel at home there. The foundation of his cooking is always made using good products, but worked as simply as possible to keep all its original taste and properties.
To face this crisis, the Chef very quickly set up a take-away service, where you can find his flagship dishes. But above all it confirmed his thirst for simplicity, conviviality and sharing simple things! The desire to return to the roots of the traditional Neapolitan cuisine! All these reasons brought him to launch his latest project, LÂ Pizza du Cômo by Renato Favaro.
The use of exceptional products will make the difference: Mozzarella di Bufala, Chorizo Bellota Iberico, the home-made tomato coulis is a mixture of 2 types of tomatoes, concentrated tomato paste made from his own tomato crops (summer 2020), Sicilian oregano (planted, picked and sun-dried in Sicily). You will find innovative recipes (Pumpkin, gorgonzola, pine nuts), or a more than generous seafood pizza: grey prawns hand peeled by Renato, pink prawns, gambas, squid, vongole…
Renato Favaro’s pizzas are already available for takeaway and soon in his restaurant once it’s allowed to welcome clients again.
