The annual literature festival in Bettembourg is back for its 9th edition, from the 18th – 30th April and features an exciting and diverse agenda for book enthusiasts of all ages.
The commune of Bettembourg presents its 9th edition of its annual literary festival, LiteraTour, which presents a great opportunity for all literary aficionados to share their passion for reading and writing. Starting Sunday 18th, the festival scheduled a promising variety of live, in-person, events, including book readings and presentations by renowned and upcoming national authors, a theatre premiere, a selection of movie adaptations, art, and much more.
In addition to the Prix Laurence, the competition and award for young writers, the festival also grants insight into the upcoming 10th edition next year, which will be held in light of Esch2022, with Bettembourg being part of the 10 Pro-Sud municipalities that participate in the festivities of the European Capital of Culture 2022.
After a long time, LiteraTour presents a great opportunity to get together and share the joys and passion of literature again, all whilst respecting the sanitary safety measures of course, announces Mayor Laurent Zeimet.
