With its slogan “The past has a future”, the Salon du Vintage returns this year to LuxExpo The Box with 150 exhibitors, and a focus on designers and creators from the 1960s to the 1990s.
Through a large European selection of passionate dealers offering authentic and quality objects, the fair will be the opportunity to discover the colourful “Vintage” universe, resolutely modern and in tune with the times.
Three different areas will be proposed :
- A “Design and Decoration” area which will present a wide range of furniture from the second half of the 20th century
- A luxury and fripe-chic area for lovers of fashion from the 60s to the 90s and in particular a selection of pieces by couturiers such as Yves Saint-Laurent, Chanel, Courrèges, but also luxury jewellery by Hermès or Louis Vuitton.
- A space for car enthusiasts with the exhibition of Porsches, Mustangs… as well as vintage motorbikes and bicycles.
During these two days, you will also be able to have your beard trimmed with a barber shop present on site, get a tattoo, go back to your childhood and initiate your children by playing arcade games, all to the sounds of 70s music.
New this year, the founder of the show, Laurent Journo, will be present all weekend to advise buyers and to appraise their objects. So, if you have an object from the 1950s to the 1990s in good condition that you want to part with, he will take care of estimating it and why not make a deal with you!
It is important to underline that the Salon du Vintage is part of a socially responsible and ecologically sustainable economy: each object or vintage piece sold is carbon neutral as is the organisation of the show itself, limiting its CO2 production.
