Experience the beauty of Luxembourgish wines and winemaking in a fun and educational way thanks to Domaine L&R Kox’s Saturday Tastings.
Domaine L&R Kox, a family-run winery located in the picturesque Moselle Valley of Luxembourg, is offering a unique wine-tasting experience this spring. The Saturday Tastings at Domaine L&R Kox are designed to be educational, enjoyable, and adventurous for both wine novices and enthusiasts, as well as locals and tourists visiting Luxembourg. The innovative concept explores different themes on five Saturdays in May and June, promising to be a one-of-a-kind experience filled with games, tastings, educational sessions, and adventures.
Each event will be hosted in collaboration with Kristina Vachadze, a Wintour master’s student, and is aimed at providing a deeper understanding of the Moselle wine region, vineyards, and the winemaking process. Participants can sign up for one or more tastings, with a participation fee of 35€ per person. All events will take place in English, starting at 3 pm on Saturdays.
The Wine Jeopardy event on May 13th will give visitors a deeper understanding of the winemaking process, with a game of Wine Jeopardy where they can win prizes. The Unique Saturday Tasting on May 20th will offer visitors the opportunity to taste some of the most unusual and unique wines of Domaine L&R Kox. The Best of the Best on June 3rd will feature their “Charta-Luxembourg” wines. These wines are recognised as some of the best in the Moselle region. A Taste of Rosé on June 10th will guide visitors through the process of making rosé wine. Finally, Vineyard Adventure on June 17th will be a unique opportunity for guests to experience the beauty and complexity of the vineyard and taste the wines in the very place they were produced.
