On Thursday 9 November, the very first evening of the Parisian “Chérie chéri” concept will be held in Luxembourg. An unmissable event for all 35-55 year-olds!
“J’voudrais vivre, des soirées parisiennes”, sang Louise Attaque. Well, finally, they’re coming to Luxembourg! The first “Chérie Chéri” evening will take place at Rives de Clausen on Thursday 9 November.
The concept
Every true Parisian has been to one of Marie Garreau’s posh evenings: the famous “Chérie Chéri” evenings.
Indeed, in the French capital, Marie Garreau is synonymous with the finest evenings out. Chic parties in exclusive and beautiful venues.
You come for so many reasons: the atmosphere, the music, the dancing, the snacks, the bottles, the encounters, whether romantic or professional and the exceptional setting.
From the Hotel Costes to the Ritz, from the Lutetia to the Samaritaine… so many prestigious places to dream about.
Chic and hip
The clientele? Chic and hip. 35-55-year-olds who love glamour and glitter, partying and socialising, and who aren’t afraid to get the dancefloor moving on a Thursday night!
“Chérie Chéri” evenings are now expanding not only in France but also outside the country. Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Strasbourg, now Luxembourg and soon Geneva?
A fine programme
So on Thursday 9 November, the first “Chérie Chéri” event will take place at one of Luxembourg’s top party venues: Ikki.
The programme includes a photocall and a professional photographer throughout the evening to capture some wonderful memories of the party, and dancers performing to the sets of DJ Nina Ly, a happy house aficionado with experience across Barcelona and Ibiza who is now in residence on the French West Coast. You’ll be able to indulge in the many sushi dishes on offer in the restaurant or share a platter to accompany your glass of crémant.
Dress Code: be classy!
Dress Code: be classy. No jeans here, we’re going all out. It’s time to get your heels, your necklines, your sequins, your blazers and your cufflinks out! At last!
The mood is festive. And the man who takes up the reins from Marie Garreau in Luxembourg promises: “We’re going to be having some great evenings, two Thursdays a month, and we’ll even be having Hors-Série evenings from time to time, on Fridays or Saturdays,” enthuses Gilles Dicop, who is fully committed to the project. “The next evening will be at Chouchou on Thursday 30 November. We’re currently scouting out some magical new venues,” he reveals.
Apps, networking and encounters
“On 14 December, in Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Strasbourg and Luxembourg, we will also be launching two “Chérie Chéri” apps to help participants connect with each other. One app for networking, and another… more private”, smiles the organiser.
