“Vakanz genéissen” invites you on a journey of discovery and taste of a different kind and promises an enjoyable time. Are you curious to see more of Luxembourg in a cozy atmosphere? Let’s go!
The General Directorate of Tourism is launching for the first time this summer a new event called “Vakanz genéissen” which translates to “enjoy the holidays”. The idea behind is very simple: 100 guests gather around a large dining table for a culinary “journey” in the five tourist regions and the capital city. Local chefs prepare seasonal and regional specialties that are typical of the region. It doesn’t matter if you are a tourist or a local, everybody is welcome! On the corresponding weekends, it is possible to reserve a seat on Saturdays or Sundays, both at lunchtime and in the evening.
One of the touristic regions in the spotlight is the Moselle. Their concept is the same, meaning to introduce you to an exceptional culinary experience, but under a different motto “Musel genéissen”. The event takes place from 30th July to 7th August and the highlight is on 6th and 7th August at the “Baggerweier” in Remerschen. Don’t’ miss this amazing opportunity to explore the best food and wine the Moselle terroir has to offer.
If this sounds like something you would like to participate in, note the upcoming events in your calendar:
