As a highlight of the oenological year, the 45th edition of the “Festival des Grands Vins de France” is back at Cactus from the 11th to the 24th of October. An opportunity to discover exceptional wines from the best wine regions of France.
From the 11th to the 24th of October, Cactus invites its customers to its 45th edition of the “Festival des Grands Vins de France.” The company will be presenting a range of 549 wines and champagnes, including more than 100 certified organic wines and 17 new products.
The range of organically certified wines has been greatly expanded in recent years, as shown by the selection of over 100 organically produced wines for this Festival des Grands Vins de France.
Bordeaux and Bourgogne are also in the spotlight. Indeed, Cactus unveils a selection of fine Bordeaux wines from the 2019 vintage, including reds that are particularly interesting because of their exceptional quality. “Bordeaux, in its great diversity, delivers a vintage with structured, silky, crisp red wines of great finesse and ageing potential. In terms of concentration and richness, this is an exceptional year, thanks to the weather, which is undoubtedly in line with the excellent 2015-2016 and 2018 vintages,” says Jean-Marc Hubertus, Product Manager Cactus Wines.
Lovers of fine bubbles will be pleased to discover a selection of rare champagnes from prestigious houses, including a special champagne from the house of Deutz, the “Amour de Deutz” cuvée, which is a great Blanc de Blancs champagne combining finesse, vinosity and complexity.
Forced to cancel any form of tasting this year, Cactus experts will still be present in all its outlets to provide customers with advice on how to find excellent bottles and build an exceptional wine cellar.
And for those who can’t make it to shops, all the wines in the catalogue are available on the online sales platform letzshop.lu, with the same advantages as in the shops.
