Mediterranean warmth has arrived in the heart of the upper town. Blends offers Greek cuisine matched with drinks inspired by the sea.
At the end of the walkway at 6 Grand-Rue, you’ll find yourself on a vast terrace that’s sure to be a hit when the sun comes out. You’ve just landed at Blends, the latest address from Petros and Maria, founders of the Le Grec restaurant in Bonnevoie and the Taverne Yamas in Place de Paris. In a neat, modern setting, enlivened here and there by touches of greenery, welcome to the new haunt of Greek cuisine.
Fine cocktails…
Here, the atmosphere is one of conviviality. That’s why the owners have made a point of offering top-class cocktails, created by mixologists. Take the “Night Sky At The Provence”, where gin, basil and cucumber meet lime and lavender. The mixes here have a strong Mediterranean flavour, often featuring herbs such as thyme, rosemary, basil or hibiscus.
… and platters to share
To add to the conviviality, Blends offers platters to share, on which you’ll find different kinds of meatballs, croquettes, finger food, vine leaves, tapenades and other tzatzíkis. The varied menu includes salads, grilled meats, skewers and prawns flambéed in ouzo, all of which will delight fans of Greek dishes.
The venue is open from 10am to 1am and offers a different atmosphere for every moment of the day: late breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner with a DJ.
Because there’s more to life than Gyros (even if we love them, of course!).
