Breaded Cauliflower

Ingredients
For the breaded cauliflower:
- 1 large cauliflower, cut into florets
- 200 g breadcrumbs
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
For serving:
- Lemon wedges
- Fresh basil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the beaten eggs, then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs.
- Place the breaded cauliflower florets on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and the coating is golden and crispy.
- Remove the breaded cauliflower from the oven and let it cool slightly.
- Serve with lemon wedges for squeezing fresh lemon juice over the cauliflower.
- Garnish with fresh basil, if desired.
Note: You can also serve the breaded cauliflower with your favourite dipping sauce or aioli.
