Camille and Julien’s villa in Luxembourg hosted La Grappe d’Or from Arlon for a delightful four-hands dinner on Monday evening. A return dinner will take place in Belgium in the fall.
It was in the pleasant Villa on rue de Pulbermühl that the starred chefs Julien Lucas and Clément Petitjean gathered on Monday, May 6. The origin of this meeting? “One day I sent a message to Clément on Instagram,” explains Chef Lucas cheerfully. “I wanted to bring together Belgian and Luxembourgish gastronomy, and since they are just across the border, it was obvious.”

An Obvious Connection, Multiple Evidences
And the obviousness doesn’t stop there. The two chefs, Julien Lucas and Camille Tardif, did not previously know each other, but both are invited to dine at La Grappe d’Or, just as Clément Petitjean and his partner Monia Aouini are at La Villa.
The cuisine of these two Michelin-starred chefs speaks to everyone. Additionally, the two professionals sit down to establish a menu: “It was very easy. Considering the season, our producers, and our respective desires… in half an hour or so we had already finished,” Chef Petitjean reports with satisfaction.
A Wonderful Experience
Indeed, in the kitchen, everything seems to run smoothly. “There isn’t much space, we were a bit cramped,” smiles Julien Lucas, but the three cooks from La Grappe d’Or seem to find their place. Similarly, in the dining area, it is easy to distinguish the Belgian team, dressed in pastel colors, from the team at La Villa. At the end, the chefs concluded: a very beautiful experience, full of exchanges and new openings, and a six-course dinner of high caliber that KACHEN had the chance to discover:
