Breaded mushrooms

Ingredients
- 420 g mushrooms
- 75 g flour
- 2 large eggs
- 100 g dried breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried tarragon
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- Salt and pepper
- Lemon juice
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Clean the mushrooms and preheat the deep fat fryer.
- Place the flour and breadcrumbs in two separate small bowls, and whisk the eggs together with garlic powder, tarragon, parsley, salt and pepper in a third bowl.
- Dip the mushrooms first in the flour, then in the eggs and finally in the breadcrumbs. If needed, dip into the eggs and breadcrumbs a second time to ensure that they are completely covered.
- Fry 5 mushrooms at a time for 3 minutes or until golden brown. Once cooked, transfer the mushrooms to a large plate lined with kitchen paper. Repeat with the remaining mushrooms.
