In recent years, Easter was often spent at home due to the pandemic. How about a change of plans this year? KACHEN has selected a few restaurants offering Easter menus!
- Amélys – On Sunday, the 9th of April, Amélys is organising an exclusive Easter brunch with a breakfast corner, assorted verrines and special dishes served to your table for 95€. Easter lunch on Easter Monday will offer monkfish tournedos, lamb chops served with rosé or green curry with seasonal vegetables for €85.
- Hostellerie du Grünewald – Exceptionally opened on Sunday, the 9th of April and on Monday, the 10th of April, the Hostellerie du Grünewald serves a long-cooked leg of lamb with pan-fried green asparagus with colonata bacon, parsnips and a tasty lamb sauce. The other option is a roasted turbot with foamy butter, textured purple artichokes and yellow wine emulsion – all for 76€.
- Le Place d’Armes – Le Plëss is serving scallops, dipped in yellow wine with truffled artichoke purée together with roasted lamb ribs, steamed asparagus and a morel-flavoured emulsion for the price of 110€ per person. La Cristallerie, on the other hand, is preparing mackerel with yoghurt and dill with a blowtorch, Palamos prawns with peas as well as red label lamb with artichokes and lemon for the price of 168€ (Sunday lunch only).
- Les Roses – Open for lunch and dinner on both celebration days, Casino 2OOO’s restaurant offers a main course of candied sole with red quinoa, coconut emulsion and caviar seeds or a 17-hour roast lamb shoulder with white asparagus, gnocchi and a tarragon emulsion. The price of the five courses is €86 and the six courses 99€.
- Le Sud – The menu is designed and created by head chef Cyril Solbes and offers two options for their main course: turbot fillet in an Ibérico chorizo crust, roasted purple artichoke and local potatoes in parmesan cheese with a Luxembourgish crémant sauce or a roasted fillet of beef with garlic butter and flambéed with Cognac, Dauphine potatoes flavoured with wild garlic, pea pulp, seasonal vegetables and Sarawak black pepper sauce – Menu for 110€.
- Ristorante Roma – On Easter Monday, Ristorante Roma is offering a five-course menu for 85€. For the main course, choose between medallions of sea bass Florentine style, accompanied by a fish soup with Vernaccia sauce and a potato mousseline with pancetta, or stuffed Saltimbocca veal with vegetable Matignon, with a light tomatoed veal juice, chanterelles, candied onions and Neapolitan potatoes.
- Robbesscheier – Treat yourself and your family to an appetising Easter menu at the Nature discovery centre, which also offers many Easter activities for kids. Open for both lunch and dinner for Easter, Robbesscheier offers starters, a main course and a dessert with always two options, ranging from 40€ to 50€.
- Weidendall – Open for Sunday, the 9th and Monday, the 10th of April, Weidendall is serving a delectable menu with three options for their main course: leg of lamb with Provence flavours, duchess potatoes and vegetables, a Wellington beef fillet, bordelaise sauce, duchess potatoes and vegetables or a fillet of St Pierre in a courgette crust, saffron sauce, celery purée and potatoes for the price of 63€.
