Located in the heart of Luxembourg’s “Petite Suisse”, in the village of Berdorf, the starting point of many hiking trails, discover the new restaurant Victoria vum Berdorfer Eck. The Chef Christophe Prosperi has taken the reins of this place, the adjoining delicatessen as well as the bed and breakfast, with the desire to change things.
Luxembourgish Chef Christophe Prosperi has more than one string to his bow, with experience acquired as a caterer for private events, and also in “classic” catering with the opening (with two partners) in 2020 of Simbiosa (station district).
Since the beginning of 2022, he’s been looking for a place where he could offer his own cuisine. “I hadn’t thought about the Berdorfer Eck before I visited it, but it’s the perfect place for me with a restaurant, a garden to grow my vegetable, a room for private events and a bed and breakfast,” enthuses the young chef.
Upon taking over the premises, the Chef wanted to shake things up. Thus, the interior decoration of the restaurant was modernised with new furniture.
As far as the delicatessen is concerned, it has been reduced in size to focus mainly on local and homemade products. “I wanted the grocery shop to be a real delicatessen, focusing exclusively on regional products.” The advantage for the restaurant’s customers is that they can buy products that they have tasted on their plate.
For a refreshing twist in the kitchen, the Chef revisits traditional dishes with a modern spin, such as Feierstengzalot, Cordon Bleu, but also a sashimi-style Omble Chevalier. “I like to add a twist to surprise the customers.” In summer, two to four seasonal dishes will also be added to the menu. Every evening, a five-course tasting menu is offered.
Victoria vum Berdorfer Eck is definitely the address to put on your list for a sunny weekend getaway and combine local tourism and gastronomy. Or In any case, a big yes!

Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday (lunch and dinner), Saturday evening and Sunday lunch.
