Pomegranate Mulled Wine

Ingredients
- 750 ml pomegranate juice
- 500 ml water
- 1 tbsp honey or agave syrup
- 1 clove
- 3 cardamom pods
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 star anise pod
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 2 cm ginger, sliced
- 4 tbsp pomegranate seeds
Instructions
- Put the pomegranate juice and water into a large pan and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the spices and the honey. Simmer on a low heat for 20 minutes. Taste for sweetness and add more honey or agave syrup if desired.
- Remove the pan from the heat and take out the spices. Add fresh pomegranate seeds and serve hot.
