The summer holidays are in full swing and with them, many events in Luxembourg. At weekends, there is plenty to do to ensure that even those who do not go abroad can enjoy themselves. “Congés annulés” in the Rotondes
This year’s “Congés annulés” will once again appeal to you with its special summer programme. For the whole month of August, you can enjoy unique concerts, DJ sets and shows, with something for everyone. Enjoy a cool drink and let the summer come to you!

Luxembourg’s most popular wine festival is back! From Friday 12 to Sunday 14 August, the whole country meets in Stadtbredimus for three days of celebration. Even if the first two days are reserved for adults, the little ones are not forgotten. Sunday is family day!

Esch2022: opening of the exhibition “live, breathe and sleep guitars” on 12 August 2022 at 7 pm
Who are the main guitar heroes and what mark have they left on rock music? This is what Luc Herzig tries to answer in his four-part exhibition “Live, breathe and sleep guitars”. He looks at the origins of the instrument’s amplification as well as the technical developments, standardisation and commercial success through the main Fender and Gibson models.
On top of the exhibition, thematic evenings will be organised with jam sessions, concerts and meetings with Luc Henzig. Let yourself be carried away into his world and let yourself be enchanted by his stories.

E – lake festival
The original idea was born in 1983 as a reaction to the lack of local events for young people. Since then, the members of the Echternach Youth Club have been happy to organize an annual music festival which is becoming more and more attractive and refined.
Thanks to the different styles of music, all of which have something magical about them, the e-Lake festival appeals to many young people and brings them together every summer for three days at the lake of Echternach. Free admission from 12 to 14 August!

Vëlosummer 2022
Until Sunday 28 August 2022, the third edition of the Vëlosummer is taking place ! A nationwide summer cycle touring programme. Eleven routes (500 km) will be dedicated to cyclists, including 120 km of roads closed to traffic for one or two weekends. A detailed map illustrates the routes as well as restaurants, accommodation and places of interest.
The “Move we carry” luggage service allows cyclists to have their luggage transported from one accommodation to another. Don’t have a bike? No problem! Contact the town of Wiltz and rent one.
