To round off this particularly sunny summer, Luxexpo The Box invites you to a second edition of Long Live The Summer, the ultimate shopping and well-being experience, from the 9th to the 11th of September 2022. The event will feature 100 innovative booths and numerous activities for families and friends. Free entry with online tickets.
After a successful first edition at the end of last summer, exhibitors and the public alike can get excited about another edition of the much sought-after event this weekend. Conceived and implemented by the City of Luxembourg, the Chamber of Commerce and Luxexpo The Box, this innovative event for the general public aims to provide concrete support to local traders and entrepreneurs whose activities have been severely affected from 2020.
Almost 100 shops and projects will be able to present themselves thanks to funding from the institutions. On site, you can find lifestyle, fashion and decoration products, creative artists and craftsmen, a huge plant sale, but also small businesses making drinks or restaurants offering dishes from all over the world, which you can taste during the three days of the event in total.
“With 50 exhibitors offering very different products, we show the business diversity of the capital’s 24 districts in a single place. The City is delighted to be able to offer this event again, together with Luxexpo The Box and the Chamber of Commerce, and to support the traders and young entrepreneurs who all contribute to the capital’s appeal,” explains Lydie Polfer, Mayor of the City of Luxembourg.

In addition, the Chamber of Commerce will once again offer the Offline Market, an area where around twenty online shops will present themselves IRL, some for the first time and most with completely new products. All these synergies that converge at Luxexpo The Box make Long Live The Summer even more valuable and meaningful.
Also good to know: the event serves as a real-life test for the 70 criteria of the “Green Business Events” project of the Ministry of Economy – Directorate General of Tourism. As part of this pilot project, Luxexpo The Box is accompanied by the Pafendall eco-centre with the aim of making events greener and more sustainable.
In addition to the 100 stands, numerous animations are planned for families and groups of friends. An overview of the creative workshops, fashion shows, sports demonstrations, live music events and shows – all of which are offered free of charge – is available on the event website www.llts.lu. Admission is also free, but you need a ticket, which is also available online.
