Art and wine lovers are expected this weekend for a sculpture exhibition at the Claude Bentz estate in Remich.
If you have not yet been to the Claude Bentz estate, this weekend will be a good opportunity to visit the place. In fact, these cellars in Remich are not like other cellars. An artistic wind blows on the domain, and if the vineyard genes have lasted for four generations (Joseph, Fernand, Claude and Carole), so have those of creativity, with today Jil Bentz as the architect of the last building of the place.
Don’t hesitate to wander through the sumptuous gardens, which will make you feel like Alice in Wonderland during a walk… a real work of art!
Around thirty sculptures
For the first time since the opening of this vast and modern enclosure, the estate is offering a Wine Meets Art weekend. The venue promises to be ideal for the thirty or so works of art that will be on display from Friday evening to Sunday evening.

Three artists are on the programme: “This is the first time that we are receiving three artists at the same time,” explains Carole Bentz, “the traditional art meetings that her father used to enjoy”. “We wanted to welcome renowned sculptors from Luxembourg, who have already exhibited here and with whom we have very good links”, continues the current director of the estate, who is looking forward to this event.
Three Luxembourgish artists
Thirty artworks by three Luxembourg artists will be exhibited on the 24th, 25th and 26th of March: Johny Hettinger and his glass sculptures, Tom Flick who creates sculptures in sandstone, marble, granite and alabaster, and Wouter Van der Vlugt who works with wood.
Exploration with a drink in hand
Why the name Wine Meets Art? Simply because you will also be able to taste the selection of the Claude Bentz estate, which will be offering a glass to visitors during this special weekend.
The opening will take place on Friday 24th March from 5pm to 9pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 7pm for the visit of the exhibition. Carole, Claude and Jojo Bentz will be there to welcome you, and you will also be able to meet the artists of this unique weekend.
