In 2021, Bernard-Massard celebrates its 100th anniversary and launches the Cuvée 1921 – Crémant de Luxembourg. This cuvée is presented in an elegant bottle with a label designed by the Luxembourgish artist Anne Mélan. The drawings on the label pay tribute to the history of the brand since its creation.
A family business, Bernard Massard has evolved over the years by re-inventing itself and trying to modernise and capitalise on its strengths. Only in 1932 did the company open up to the international market by exporting its sparkling wines to Belgium. Today, the winegrower enjoys worldwide recognition. To celebrate their 100th anniversary, Bernard Massard has released the 1921 Cuvée, a blend of several grape varieties, with drawings by Anne Mélan, a tribute to the company’s history and their commitment to sustainability.
“To celebrate our centenary, we had to create an exceptional wine! “says Bernard-Massard. And it is indeed a top-of-the-range cuvée, faithful to the style of the house, which has just been launched on the market. Made out of grapes from the best parcels of the house and aged for three years in its cellars, Cuvée 1921 is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris. The promise of great emotions during tasting!
