The Vignerons of Domaines Vinsmoselle launch the “plaisir sans alcool” with two alcohol-free wines.
As we enter the year 2023, and in a nod to “Dry January”, Domaines Vinsmoselle’s Vignerons are launching their two new alcohol-free wines, in still or sparkling versions, to meet consumer expectations as well as a rapidly growing market trend. Among the many reasons for choosing not to drink alcohol, whether they are sportsmen, pregnant women, diabetics or following a strict diet, these two alcohol-free wines are a good alternative to rediscover the notion of conviviality during aperitifs with friends.
These wines have aromas of yellow fruit, lychee and nutmeg. The sparkling wine also has a refreshing, playful and stimulating foam. On the palate, they oscillate between lightness and freshness, allowing you to rediscover the full experience of wine without worrying about the effects of alcohol.
A modern and unique process
The wines are made from ripe, healthy grapes of different varieties from the vineyards of the Luxembourgish Moselle winegrowers. Gently pressed and fermented at cool temperatures, the wine is first gently de-alcoholised using the most modern cellar techniques. In the vacuum evaporator, the wine is then heated to a very low temperature, which evaporates the alcohol it contains. Thanks to the low vacuum boiling temperature, the important components and aromas as well as the flavour of the wine are largely preserved.
