Three weeks before the announcement of its list of starred restaurants, scheduled for Monday, 13th of March at the Théâtre Royal in Mons, the MICHELIN Guide Belgium and Luxembourg presents the 22 new restaurants that will receive a Bib Gourmand in its 2023 edition. In Luxembourg, Bazaar has been rewarded!
The MICHELIN Guide’s Bib Gourmand distinguishes restaurants that offer very good value for money and offer at least one meal – usually a starter, main course and dessert – for around 45 euros. All styles of cuisine can be found here, as well as a wide variety of restaurants, with generosity and gourmandise being the main threads.
Among the 22 new addresses awarded a Bib Gourmand, we find mainly Belgian addresses with one Luxembourgish establishment: Bazaar, whose Mediterranean specialities charmed the inspectors of the guide.
Werner Loens, Director of Selection for the MICHELIN Guides in the Benelux countries, commented: “In addition to delighting us on a daily basis, these restaurants have succeeded in reconciling top-quality cuisine with reasonable prices despite the difficult economic climate. We must also salute the creativity of the chefs at these 22 restaurants, who use quality ingredients to create original and tasty dishes from a wide range of culinary styles.”

We will of course keep you informed of the new MICHELIN Stars and the winners of the Special Awards, which will be announced at the MICHELIN Guide Belgium and Luxembourg 2023 ceremony on Monday, 13th of March. Stay tuned!
